Leftovers IIIFebruary 2nd – February 28th Art at Wharepuke is pleased to once again be working with Wingtip Press from Boise, Idaho, USA to bring the print exchange Leftovers III to NZ. This is the second Leftovers show we have exhibited at Wharepuke and we envisage this becoming an annual event. The history of Leftovers Leftovers began in 2009 as a result of finding too many scraps of leftover printing papers jamming our flat files. We put out a call to artists to use those scraps to create an edition of prints no larger than 5″ x 7″ and receive a random dozen prints in return. We have grown from an initial 60 participants to 155 in 2012. Artists now produce 14 prints, receive 12 in return. Of the two remaining prints, one is used for exhibitions and the second is featured in a Silent Auction to raise funds for Hunger Relief. Follow the Leftovers blog
There’s still time to be part of the Leftovers IV 2013 Print Exchage too
